NoTours is a project developed by Escoitar.org that allows to walk any place while living an augmented acoustic experience. NoTours takes advantage of mobile devices based on open source code such us Android, as well as GPS technologies that provide real time location data, to create supperinposed sound narratives and 3D audio contents.
NoTours is a platform to create sound-walks through different territories, to propose historic and acoustic journeys narrated by its protagonists, to develop sound installations and imagine new art pieces a based on sound and location.
